Delores M. Etter

Biography

 Etter recently transitioned from Professor to Professor Emeritus in Electrical Engineering at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas.   During her tenure at SMU, she held the Texas Instruments Distinguished Chair in Engineering Education and was a Distinguished Fellow in the Darwin Deason Institute for Cyber Security.   Dr. Etter has also served on the faculties of the U.S. Naval Academy, the University of Colorado at Boulder, and the University of New Mexico.  She is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and a former member of the National Science Board and the Defense Science Board.
