Biography
Dr. George Bennett, PH.D. serves as a Professor of Biochemistry and Cell Biology at Rice University in Houston, Texas, since 1978. Dr. Bennett has had extensive experience with Clostridia, focusing on understanding the regulation of genes related to solvent production and the use of various genes in metabolic engineering of the organism for production of specific chemicals. His research interests include regulation of gene expression in bacteria, response of bacteria
