Theresa Burkhart

Biography

Theresa M. Burkhart, MS, MHA, FACHE, CPHIMS, is the vice president of the Centers of Excellence and Innovation at Rush Health, a clinically integrated network that includes 4 hospitals and over 1,300 providers in metropolitan Chicago. In this role, she is responsible for supporting the development of new value-based and population health programs for participating hospitals and physicians. This includes accountable care, direct-to-employer contracts, clinical centers of excellence and innovation programs through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services. Burkhart is an assistant professor in the health systems management graduate program. She has over 20 years of experience in health care administration, including 10 years working in health care information technology and analytics with Rush Health.
