Biography
Raymond Capra began teaching in the Department of Classical Studies in 2006 replacing Fr. Eugene Cotter who had been at Seton Hall University since 1965. He teaches all levels of ancient Greek, and also a full range of Classical Studies courses in translation.
Research Interest
Epic and Lyric poetry of the ancient Hellenic world, Western poets Stesichorus and Ibycus and their reevaluation of the Homeric tradition
