Biography
The company SVP, Dr. Mingqi Lu, achieved Ph. D at Univ. of Connecticut, and was a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Agre’s group at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutes and Mt. Sinai Medical School. He has previously served as clinical development director, medical director and executive director of various companies including GALDERMA, ONO PHARMA USA and HELSINN THERAPEUTICS (U.S). He was experienced in both pharmaceutical industry and academia in documentation of Pre-IND, IND and NDA submissions with the FDA and overseas regulatory agencies (SDA/CFDA) over 20 years, with extensive experience in the conduct and management of various aspects of clinical drug R&D from project initiation, drug candidate discovery, Pre-Clinical Pharmacology, through Clinical PK, PD, Phase I, II, III and IV in both the US and overseas (China, Hong Kong). Dr. Lu won the honor of Adjunct Principal Investigator/Professor of Dept. of OB/GYN at Peking University First Hospital in China, and he was listed in 56th –58th Marquis and Strathmore’s Who’s Who in America.
