machine learning and multi-agent learning ,multi-agent systems and cooperative distributed problem solving; distributed sensor interpretation and situation assessment; architectures for knowledge-intensive control of AI systems (reactive and opportunistic planners, and blackboard-based systems);reasoning under uncertainty and abductive inference.
