Biography
Dr. Chakravorty has a BS in Chemistry, MS in Biochemistry from University of Calcutta and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. Dr. Chakravorty has more than fifteen years of experience in molecular biology research with special focus on the molecular diagnostics of infectious diseases and tuberculosis. He joined New Jersey Medical School as a Post-Doctoral fellow in 2004 and is now an Assistant Professor leading multiple successful projects to develop next generation diagnostic assays for infectious diseases.
