Biography
Dr. Paulette grew up on a 7 acre farmette in Marengo, Illinois where she enjoyed caring for a variety of animals ranging from hamsters to cows. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences as well as her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois. After vet school, Dr. Paulette followed her love of the outdoors and relocated to the Pacific Northwest. She joined the University Place Veterinary Hospital team in July 2016 and is very excited to be part of such a wonderful team! Her special interests include small mammal exotic medicine, reptile medicine, preventative medicine and internal medicine. In her free time, Dr. Paulette enjoys rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with friends. But most of all, Dr. Paulette enjoys spending time with her rabbit Tilly, cat Lenni, and three snakes.
