Biography
Dr. Steven Bailey, is the Professor and Chief of the Janey and Dolph Briscoe Division of Cardiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Bailey has the honor of chairing the only named division within the School of Medicine, at HSC. His clinical activities are performed at the Medical Arts and Research Center. Dr. Bailey has just completed a term as President of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) and will begin a 5year term (January 1, 2011), as the appointed “Editor in Chief” of Interventional & Invasive Cardiology's foremost peer-reviewed journal, Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions (CCI Journal) which is the official publication of SCAI.
