Frederick A. Robertson

Biography

 Dr. Frederick A. Robertson, also known as Fred, M.D., MBA, serves as a Venture Partner at Baird Venture Partners. Dr. Robertson joined Baird Venture Partners on December 16, 2011 and served as its an Operating Partner since 2011. Dr. Robertson is Head of Baird Venture's Madison office. He works closely with its life sciences team. He served as the Chief Executive Officer at TomoTherapy Incorporated since January 2005 and served as its President since December 31, 2008. Dr. Robertson served as the Chief Clinical Officer at GE Medical Systems, Inc. (now GE Healthcare Ltd) from July 2000 to September 2000. He held various Management positions with GE Healthcare Information Technologies (now GE Medical Systems Information Technologies, Inc.) from January 1993 to July 2000 and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer from November 25, 1997 and July 2000, Chief Executive Officer and President of Monitoring Group from November 1997 to November 1998, Medical Director from February 1997 to November 1997, President, Patient Monitoring Division from May 1994 to February 1997 and Medical Director from January 1993 to May 1994. Dr. Robertson later served as the Chief Clinical Officer of GE Healthcare Limited from July 2000 to September 2000. He served as an Officer of Anesthesia Service Medical Group. Dr. Robertson served in a variety of roles in the medical field. He was Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health since March 1993. He serves as the Chairman of Zurex Pharma, Inc. He has been a Non-Executive Director of Oridion Systems Ltd. since June 2011. He serves on the University of Wisconsin Foundation Board of Directors and the Morgridge Institute for Research Board of Trustees. Dr. Robertson serves as a Board Member of 1StopMD, Inc. He has been a Director of Lantheus Holdings, Inc. since March 04, 2016. He serves as a Director of Alpha Source, Inc. Dr. Robertson serves as a Member of Advisory Board at Total Administrative Services Corporation. He served as a Director of Oridion Systems Ltd., and Anesthesia Patient Safety. Dr. Robertson served as a Director of GE Healthcare Information Technologies (GE Medical Systems Information Technologies, Inc.) since November 25, 1997. He serves as Director at Mithridion, Inc. He has been a Director of TomoTherapy Incorporated since January 2005. He served as a Director of Masimo Corporation since September 2000. Dr. Robertson served as a Director of InnerWireless, Inc. and of Anesthesia Service Medical Group. Dr. Robertson was a Director of privately-held healthcare research foundation. Dr. Robertson is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He was a Practicing Anesthesiologist. He earned his medical degree from and is a faculty member with the Department of Anesthesiology at UW-Madison's School of Medicine & Public Health. He completed his internship and residency at the University of California-San Francisco. Dr. Robertson attended the University of Wisconsin and holds M.D. from University of Wisconsin Medical School and M.B.A. from San Diego State University.
