Biography

As Country General Manager, Byrne oversees Sales, Operations, Administration and Finance for Kelly Canada. He brings over 20 years of staffing industry experience and an entrepreneurial spirit to his role.  His dynamic leadership style and innovative approach empowers his team to achieve results and provide customers with the best experience in workforce solutions. Delivering on the Kelly brand promise – finding the right talent for customers – and helping people find meaningful employment are important markers of success for Byrne. He has demonstrated a remarkable level of business and marketing acumen throughout his career, complemented by record sales and productivity achievements. He holds degrees in Business Commerce from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and in Executive Leadership from the University of Wisconsin. Byrne lends his business and staffing industry expertise in support of local organizations, believing strongly in the importance of giving back to the community. He has led policy and governance initiatives for organizations such as the Calgary Chamber of Commerce and the Talent Pool Society of Calgary. He received the Ian Anderson Committee Chair of the Year Award from the Calgary Chamber of Commerce in recognition of his commitment and extraordinary leadership abilities.
