Biography

Associate Professor of General and Inorganic Chemistry (03 / B1) at the Faculty of SMFN of "Sapienza" University of Rome from A. 2000-1. University Researcher Confirmed (Chim / 03) from A.A. 1981-2. Winner of a British Council Qualification Fellow at Chemical Crystallography Laboratory in Oxford (Supervisor: Prof. C. K. Prout, A. A. 1980-1). Lecturer National Academy of Lions - Donegani Foundation (Supervisor: Prof. A. Vaciago, A. A. 1978-80). Research Scientist at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Budapest, 1983 and 1986) for Chemical Engineering Structures for Applications of Gas Electron Difraction (GED). President of the Teaching Commission of the Italian Association of Crystallography (AIC) in the three-year period 1994-96. In this role he organized and cared for the AIC annual school and the editing of the three-volume press releases. He was secretary of the AIC (2003-5). (co /) Author of over 120 publications on peer-reviewed international chemical journals and a university textbook of Chemistry. Unit Officer (PRIN 1996, 1997 and 1999). Since 2007 he has been responsible for the RX diffraction laboratory of the Department of Chemistry. Member of the editorial board of the Journal of Chemistry, of Dataset Papers in Chemistry and of the Journal of Crystallography. He teaches General and Inorganic Chemistry (LT in Sciences applied to Cultural Heritage and Diagnostics for their Conservation) and Diffractometric Chemistry Structural (LM in Chemistry).
