Biography
Ahmed Lotfy has over three decades of experience in the Oil and Gas Services sector having spent the majority of his career at Halliburton prior to joining Viking Services as its Chief Executive Office in 2016. Prior to leaving Halliburton, Mr. Lotfy sat on the Company’s Executive Committee and served as its President of the Eastern Hemisphere which encompassed the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Europe regions from 2007 to 2011. In this role, Ahmed was responsible for Halliburton’s operations across 55 countries. Previously, Mr. Lotfy also served as a product line manager and as the business development manager for Halliburton in the Middle East region. He also held a variety of engineering and managerial positions in Houston, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Egypt, Sudan and Libya during a 34-year career with Halliburton. Mr. Lotfy is a graduate of the Faculty of Science at Ain Shams University in Cairo with a major in Chemistry.
