Julian D Ford

Biography

I am a clinical psychologist specializing in assessment, treatment, and research for children, adolescents, adults, and families affected by post-traumatic stess disorder. I am Director and Principal Investigator of the SAMHSA-funded Treatment and Services Adaptation Center for Trauma Recovery and Juvenile Justice and Co-Investigator and Northeast Regional Site Director for the Complex Trauma Treatment Network in the National Child Traumatic Stress Network. I am Associate Editor for the Journal of Trauma and Dissociation and European Journal of Psychotraumatology. I Chair two panels of the Institutional Review Board of the University of Connecticut Health Center. He has finished his B.A in Psychology at University of Michigan followed by Ph.D. in Psychology at State University of New York at Stony Brook.
