Biography
He is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Neurological Surgery of UHealth and the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine
Research Interest
Protecting and regenerating the CNS after traumatic injury. We examine novel mechanisms of cell death, adult neurogenesis, angiogenesis and synaptogenesis using cellular and molecular strategies, cutting-edge imaging techniques, electrophysiological, anatomical and behavioral methodologies, and transgenic mouse models.
