Biography
Born in 1966, Mr. Sharaf has a Masters of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He has also earned a Masters in Business Administration from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. He has extensive experience in upstream oil and gas industry, having spent 15 years with ConocoPhilips in a number of international operations.
Research Interest
He is the chairman of Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME), a board member of Dragon Oil Plc and is the CEO of Dutco Energy, a privately held E&P company with operating interests across North America.
