Biography

As Abbott's Senior Vice President, International Nutrition, Joe Manning is responsible for commercial operations in Southeast Asia, Europe/Middle East/Africa and Latin America. He was appointed to this role in January 2017.Since joining Abbott in Canada as a sales representative in 1995, Joe has held a variety of roles within Abbott’s Pharmaceutical and Nutrition organizations. Prior to his current appointment, Joe served within Abbott Nutrition as Commercial Director for Europe/Canada, as General Manager starting our commercial operations in Russia/CIS countries, as General Manager in Indonesia and, immediately prior to assuming his current role, as Vice President, Nutrition, Asia Pacific. While in Russia, Joe served as an advisor to Deti Nashe, initiating programs whose goal is to enroll and educate caregivers in orphanages on how to decrease social disorders related to children’s prolonged institutionalization. Joe received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
