Chris Davison

Biography

Chris joined Rayner in September 2015 as Director of Operations. With almost 30 years in the industry, Chris brings to the role a wealth of experience in lens production. He has held various engineering and management positions for multiple lens manufacturing equipment suppliers, and has travelled to facilities in over 30 countries including a number of turn-key installations. For 13 years, he was the Senior Business Unit Manager of CooperVision’s made-to-order contact lens division with whom he led a number of successful production site transfers. Most recently, he project-managed the start-up of Sauflon’s MTO lens business. Chris is a Chartered Manager and has an MBA. Married with twins who are at college, Chris relaxes by taking his dog Maisie for long walks on the beach
