Biography
Matt joined the Rayner Group Board in January 2017 as part of Phoenix Equity Partners’ investment in Rayner. Matt joined Phoenix in 2016 as an Investment Director. Matt has 9 years of private equity experience having worked previously at Lyceum Capital and LDC in both London and the Midlands where he focused on investments across several sectors including Industrials, Business Services, Consumer, Healthcare, Media and Software. He is a member of Phoenix’s Industrial and Business Services team and covers the Midlands region. Prior to his time in private equity, Matt worked in corporate strategy for Control Risks Group, a global risks consultancy business and in the commercial due diligence team at Deloitte. He graduated from The Queen’s College, Oxford with a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Matt is married to Milena and enjoys eating out, rugby, wine and the occasional run!
