Biography
Chen Jiaqiang was born in Hong Kong in April 1951, Chen Jiaqiang currently holds the position of MCC Independent Non-Executive Director and Executive Director of CRRC Corporation Limited. Mr. Chen once served as senior assistant of the Audit Department, Tax Department Manager and Senior Manager of the China Service Department of Ernst & Young and CFO (Chief Financial Officer) of the Hong Kong Qixiang Group. He was successively appointed as Partner of Ernst & Young in Beijing, Managing Partner of the Tax and Investment Consultation Service Department in Beijing and Managing Partner of the NPA Transaction Consultation Service Department. Mr. Chen graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University with qualifications in Accounting and is currently a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a senior member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) and a member of CPA Australia from January 1994 to December 2008. Mr. Chen also served as Executive Committee Member of the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in China from 1996 to 2003 and President of the Chamber from 2000 to 2003.
