Biography
Jing Tianliang was born in August 1945, a Chinese national without the right of residence outside China, Jing Tianliang currently holds the positions of MCC Non-Executive Director, Outside Director of the Baosteel Group Corporation and Outside Director of the State Development & Investment Corporation (SDIC). Mr. Jing has served successively as DeputyDirector of the Coal Industry Ministry, National Energy Administration and China National Coal Corporation, President and General Manager of the China Coal Import & Export Group Co., Ltd., General Office Director of the Coal Industry Ministry, General Office Director and Foreign Affairs DepartmentDirector of the Coal Industry State Bureau, General Manager of the China National Coal Group Corporation, President of the China Coal Energy Company Limited and so on. Mr. Jing has served as Baosteel Outside Director from January 2009, MCC Group President from March 2010 to August 2014, MCC President from June 2010 to September 2013 and SDIC Outside Director from May 2011. A professor-level senior engineer with a special government allowance from the State Council, Mr. Jing graduated from the Xi’an School of Mining (now the Xi’an University of Science and Technology).
