Biography
Mayer Heil joined Nabriva Therapeutics in February 2006. He holds a PhD in organic chemistry. Having worked for almost 20 years in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, Werner has gained significant experience in drug development and intellectual property. He has a strong track record in patent filing and is co-inventor of more than 10 international filed patent applications. Before joining Nabriva Werner held the position of Head of Chemistry of Sandoz's discovery unit. Werner played a major role in the Nabriva spin-off from Sandoz and served Nabriva as Head CMC and IP before he was appointed VP CMC & IP in June 2012.
