Biography
Carter is a board eligible orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, hip, knee, shoulder surgery, as well as general orthopaedics and fracture management. Dr. Carter received his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, and then completed his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He then completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Carter has authored several book chapters, peer reviewed publications, and has given presentations in the United States and abroad. Originally from the Washington, DC metropolitan area, Dr. Carter looks forward to providing comprehensive orthopedic care to the community.
