Biography
Brent Shimada, Senior Vice President Human Resources has been with EnergySolutions since July 2011. Prior to joining EnergySolutions, he was Vice President Administration and General Counsel for Otix Global, Inc. (formerly Sonic Innovations, Inc.) (NYSE: OTIX), from October 2004. Between May 1999 to October 2004, he was Human Resources Director for American Express’ Global Travelers Cheque Operations Group. Mr. Shimada served as Senior Corporate Counsel for grocery and drug retail conglomerate, American Stores Company, from 1996 to 1999. He was Legal Counsel for Alliant Techsystems, Inc. (formerly Hercules Incorporated), a government contractor, from 1985 to 1996. Mr. Shimada earned Bachelor’s (Finance), MBA and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Utah.
