Biography
John Christian came to EnergySolutions as part of the acquisition of BNG America and is President of the Company’s Logistics, Processing and Utility Support Services Division. Mr. Christian joined BNG America in 2000 and held various executive positions, including Chief Operating Officer from 2003-2006. Between 1989-2000, Mr. Christian served in various executive positions within Rust International, OHM Corporation, and the IT Group, where he was responsible for projects involving large project management, decommissioning of nuclear facilities, nuclear waste management and waste treatment, site closure, and terminating radioactive materials licenses. Mr. Christian was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy from 1979-1989 serving on nuclear submarines, where he was responsible for various areas of reactor operations, reactor refueling and overhaul, and submarine tactical operations. Mr. Christian received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from Duke University and a Master of Engineering degree from University of Florida.
