Biography
Mr. Spiegel was a partner at Deloitte & Touche, LLP, a global professional services firm, where he practiced from September 1969 until his retirement in May 2010. In his over 40 year career at Deloitte, he served in numerous management positions, including as Deputy Managing Partner, member of the Executive Committee, Managing Partner of Deloitte’s Transaction Assurance practice, Global Offerings and IFRS practice and Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice (Northeast Region), and as Partner-in-Charge of Audit Operations in Deloitte’s New York office. Mr. Spiegel also serves on the Board of Directors of American Eagle Outfitters, Inc., a leading apparel and accessories retailer and Radian Group, Inc., a leading mortgage insurance company. Mr. Spiegel was formerly on the Board of Directors of Vringo, Inc., a diversified technology company. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Long Island University and attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
