Biography
e, Inc. since March 2010. Mr. Burckhardt has over 20 years of industry experience. His balance of U.S. and international market development experience in orthopedics is uniquely suited to leverage Flower Orthopedics. He served as President of International at Alphatec Holdings, Inc. from March 2010 to April 2011. From April 2009 to March 2010, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Scient’x SA, a company that was acquired by Alphatec Spine in March 2010. Prior to Orthofix, Mr. Burckhardt served as the President of Orthofix Spine, Inc., where he was responsible for its global spine business unit. Prior to Orthofix, he worked at Aesculap, Inc., where he had increasing levels of responsibility, including Vice President of Spine Sales and Marketing, where Mr. Burckhardt played a key role in establishing Aesculap’s US and international spine business.
