Biography
Kim Andersen, PhD, is Senior Vice President and Head of Research at Lundbeck. He is member of Lundbeck’s R&D Executive Committee. He started his career with Lundbeck in 1989 and has held different positions within medicinal chemistry including five years as head of department in Denmark and Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry at Lundbeck Research USA, Inc.(formerly Synaptic Pharmaceuticals). In 2006 he returned to the headquarters in Denmark and took on the position as Director of Research Operations and Project Portfolio Management Research, a position he held until becoming Vice President of the Danish research site in 2008.
