Biography
My research interest is in organ failure and immune responses following major trauma. I hope to carry forwards some of the work of my predecessors in this field, with the aim of improving our understanding of the immune mechanisms that lead to organ dysfunction in severely injured patients. As part of my research, I am also the Lead Clinical Fellow for a clinical trial that is due to start at our center, which is investigating a potential organ protection agent to determine if it improves outcomes when administered to severely injured patients.
