Biography

Adrian Als received the BSc. (Computer Science and Physics) and MPhil (Digital Communications) degrees from the University of the West Indies (UWI) Cave Hill Campus in 1997 and 2000, respectively. In 2004 he received the PhD degree (Optical Engineering) from Sheffield Hallam University (UK). He is currently a lecturer within the Computer Science, Physics and Mathematics Department at UWI.

Research Interest

Research interests include aspects of mobile device programming, digital signal process (DSP) and the modelling of ultra high-speed optical devices for both wavelength division multiplexing and optical time division multiplexing applications.
