Biography
Dr. Bangwayo-Skeete is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. She was the 2016 UWI-Cave Hill's Campus Award winner for the "Most Internationally Successful Research" with her groundbreaking research article on Google Data published in Tourism Management. Prior to re-joining UWI in 2012, she taught at two other universities in the region and worked as an economist in the public sector. She was an Erasmus PhD scholar to the University of Oxford for the year 2004-2005. Her research features in both regional and international journals. Dr. Skeete has a keen research interest in tourism modelling, development economics, macroeconomics and environmental economics.
