Biography
Diana has been an active member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados (ICAB) since 1999, and was elected to serve on Council and formed part of the Executive Committee during 2008-2011 where she served as Secretary (2008-2010) and Treasurer (2011). She was appointed a ‘Fellow’ (FCA) of ICAB in 2011.Diana commenced her accounting career in the Audit & Assurance Department of Ernst & Young. She went on to various management positions within the off-shore sector whilst teaching at the University part-time. She was appointed as full-time temporary lecturer in Accounting at the UWI in 2009. Diana is currently pursuing her PhD which covers the areas of Corporate Governance and Accounting. She is also currently Chair for the Accounting, Investments and Financial Management Subject Area Group.
