Biography
Joseann Knight joined the Department of Management Studies in June 1999 after several years as a Management Consultant, working on projects in Barbados and St. Vincent. Her areas of research include marketing, consumer behaviour, entrepreneurship, and teaching and learning in the tertiary environment. Dr. Knight has published in several international and regional journals including Marketing Intelligence and Planning, the Journal of Brand Management, the Journal of Higher Education Theory and Practice, and the Journal of Eastern Caribbean Studies. She has also undertaken several scholarly activities including being the Special Editor for two volumes of International Marketing Review on the topic of international branding. Since joining UWI, Dr. Knight has conducted multiple marketing research projects on behalf of the private sector. She is a follower of Jesus Christ, and is an active member of her assembly at the Black Rock Church of the Nazarene. Additional responsibilities are Chair of the Marketing, Entrepreneurship and International Business Subject Area Group, Chair of the Faculty of Social Sciences Student Welfare Committee
