Gary J Bischoping

Biography

 Gary Bischoping, Jr. was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Varian Medical Systems in 2017. His management responsibilities include corporate accounting, investor relations, internal audit, risk management, tax and treasury, and corporate information systems. Prior to joining Varian, Mr. Bischoping was with Dell Technologies for 17 years. There, he held several management roles, including CFO of its Client Solutions Group, where he led an organisation of 200 finance professionals in over 30 countries, supporting business with revenues of over $35B. Before his time with Dell, he worked in financial management consulting for Stern Stewart & Company, Xerox and the SK Group. Mr. Bischoping earned his MBA at the University of Rochester's Simon School of Business and he holds a BS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Oswego. He passed the Certified Public Accountants examination in 1991.
