Dr. Federico Adolfo Sturzenegger, Ph.D. serves as President of Banco Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Dr. Sturzenegger serves as the Governor and Chairman of Banco Central de la República Argentina SA. He served as Chief Economist, YPF S.A. from 1998 to 1995. He served as Consultant of Government of South Africa from 2007 to 2005; Inter American Development Bank in 2007, 2005, 2003, 2001; Japan Bank for International Cooperation in 2007 and from 2005 to 2003; International Monetary Fund in 2005, 2004, 2003, 1994, 1993; The World Bank in 2005, 2002, 1999, 1994, 1988; Global Development Network in 2004, 2003; Bank of England since 2003; United Nations Development Program since 2003; Bank of International Settlements since 2003; National Bank of Switzerland in 2003, 2002; Fundación de Investigaciones Latinoamericanas (FIEL) since 1994; and Central Bank of Ukraine since 1993. He served as Chairman of Banco De La Ciudad De Buenos. He serves as and Professor at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. He appears regularly in the press and is a regular consultant of corporations and International Organizations. In 2005, the World Economic Forum of Davos selected him as Young Global Leader. Dr. Sturzenegger holds Licenciado en Economía, Universidad Nacional de La Plata, La Plata, Argentina in 1987 and Ph.D in Economics from MIT in 1991.
