Biography
Imach James Cohen, Vice President of Legal and Government Relations MercadoLibre, is responsible for designing and implementing the strategy in relation to legal affairs and government relations for the company. James Cohen Imach MercadoLibre joined in August 1999 and among other activities coordinated the initial public offering (IPO) of the company, directing and coordinating various processes of acquisitions and mergers, and continually advises from a legal perspective the different areas Company business: sales, marketing, customer service, IT. James has a Masters in Law and Economics at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and a law degree from the University of Tucumán. He speaks fluent English and Portuguese.
