Biography
Sebastian Fernandez Silva is Vice President of Human Resources MercadoLibre.com. He joined the company in 2004 and is responsible for the definition, implementation and management of policies, practices and HR processes that will attract, retain and develop the talent needed to lead the business e-commerce industry in the 12 countries of Latin America. Prior to joining MercadoLibre.com, Sebastian held various HR functions on American Airlines and Iberia for Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral, IDEA, M. & M. Bomchil Lawyers and Colgate Palmolive. Sebastian holds a BS in Psychology - graduated with honors from the University of Buenos Aires - and did a postgraduate in Strategic Human Resource Management at the University of San Andrés, a HR Executive Program at IAE (Institute of Business Studies) Strategic HR and Executive Program at the University of Michigan.
