Karl Browning

Biography

Mr. Karl Browning has been the President of Schneider Corporation since June 2010. Mr. Browning served as the Chief Operating Officer of Schneider Corporation since March 2010. previously, he was commissioner of the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), where he served in Governor Mitch Daniels' cabinet. Prior to this, Mr. Browning was Chief Information Officer of Indiana's Office of Technology (IOT). Mr. Browning left public service in 2009 to return to the private sector. Mr. Browning has spent nearly two-thirds of his career managing service delivery organizations with two Ross Perot service companies, EDS and Perot Systems, helping customers improve their operations and profitability. Immediately prior to joining the Daniels' administration, Mr. Browning served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Golden Rule Insurance Company.
