Gabriel Berger

Biography

Gabriel Berger has a Ph.D. in Social Policy and a Master's Degree in Social Services Management (Heller School for Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University, USA). He is a full-time professor at the University of San Andrés within the School of Business Administration and director of the Center for Social Innovation at the University. His teaching and research areas are focused on the government and strategy of social enterprises, corporate social responsibility and sustainable management of companies, and strategic social investment, giving postgraduate, graduate and executive education courses. She also directs the PROCARSSE, Training Program in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, which UdeSA has been dictating since 2008 with the support of AMCHAM.He has served as director of the School of Management and Business (2013-2017) and as a member of the University's Higher Council (2012-2017) of the University. He has been co-founder and director for 15 years of the Postgraduate Degree in Nonprofit Organizations until May 2013, and currently serves on its Academic Committee. It also integrates the Academic Committee of the MBA, and the Superior Council of the University of San Andrés. Since 2001, it has been part of the academic network SEKN (Social Entrepreneur Knowledge Network) in which the main business schools of Latin America participate, of which it is currently its general coordinator. He joined the Board of the International Society of Third Sector Research (2013-2016). Among his most prominent publications is the book Inclusive Businesses.
