Biography
He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Católica Argentina. He is Chairman of the Transparency Committee. He served for 14 years in the investment bank Merrill Lynch & Co in Buenos Aires and New York, and held the posts of Head of Mergers and Acquisitions for Latin America and President for the Southern Cone (Argentina, Chile, Peru and Uruguay), among others. During his tenure at Merrill Lynch, he played a prominent role in several of the most important transactions in investment banking in the region. He was a consultant for Bank of America and Merrill Lynch after leaving the bank. Previously he was Head of Financial Planning and Investor Relations in Transportadora de Gas del Sur S.A. He is currently a board member of Adecoagro S.A. He was Alternate Director of YPF from April to June 2014 and Director from June 2014 to April 2016. He has been CFO (Finance Executive Vice President) of YPF since July 2012 and Alternate Director since April 2016.
