Biography
He obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) and holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from UBA and a Master in Business Administration from AMA, New York. He has extensive national and international energy industry experience. Between 1995 and 1997 he was President and CEO of Maxus Energy Corporation. He worked at YPF, where among other positions, he served as CFO in 1997, and as Chairman and CEO from 1998 to 1999. From 1999 to 2000 he was the Executive Vice President of Exploration and Production of Repsol YPF in Argentina. He is currently Director of Petrobras Argentina S.A. and Tenaris S.A. Since April 2016 he is a Director of YPF.
