Biography
Svetlana Tolmačeva Dingarac was born in Volgograd, Russia and studied at Volgograd State University. She began her professional career at Sberbank in Volgograd, where she quickly advanced to the position of FX operations manager. Soon afterwards, she relocated to Serbia and began working for ProCredit Bank (then known as Microfinance Bank) as an internal auditor. In 2004, she was appointed CFO, and was then promoted to the position of deputy general manager. She subsequently joined the bank’s Executive Board, and was appointed Chairperson of the Executive Board in early 2009.
