Biography
Dr Phillip Bushell-Guthrie received his schooling in Brisbane before attending the University of Queensland where he graduated firstly in dentistry and then in medicine. He spent a year as a research fellow and then went onto train as a maxillo facial surgeon and a plastic surgeon. His post graduate training was carried out at the Princess Alexandra Hospital Brisbane, The Royal London Hospital, Frenchay Hospital Bristol and then the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney.
Research Interest
Dr Bushell-Guthrie has special interests in facial cosmetic surgery, body contouring fat and stem cell transfer and skin cancer surgery. He believes that where indicated, aesthetic surgery can help to produce a more level playing field, boosting self-confidence.
