Biography
Rudy Karsan is probably most well-known for founding Kenexa, a leading SaaS-based provider of human capital management software that Rudy and a team of talented executives took public in 2005 and sold to IBM in 2012 for $1.3 billion. Nothing excites Rudy more than out-of-the-box technology or a great idea which he can grow and, in doing so, help improve people’s lives in some way. Having started a bunch of companies in his 30-year career—some of which were hugely successful while others were not—Rudy believes that entrepreneurship is an exhilarating journey. His strong background in actuarial science, combined with the ability to dream big, paved the way for his success as an entrepreneur. Rudy has been recognized multiple times for his entrepreneurial and humanitarian achievements, and he is the author of a New York Times bestselling book on employee engagement. Rudy currently serves on the Board at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia.
