Biography
Community development, where for the past 10 years I have worked with community-based organizations and coalitions on issues including violence prevention, youth development, organizing and coalition building, housing, economic development, program evaluation, and strategic planning. The majority of my work involves action-research projects that seek to build the capacity of organizations to better understand and change their environments. My primary research interests are in the relationship between neighborhood conditions and community well-being.
