Alice Thurgood

Biography

Alice Thurgood an environmental scientist and am passionate about delivering high quality solutions to clients with a focus on environmental outcomes. With two years of industry experience in the preparation of environmental impact assessments and legislative project designation under NSW legislation, I have had an opportunity to work across a range of sectors, including transport and infrastructure, mining, and specialising in water services for both government and private sector clients. My time at AECOM has provided the opportunity to gain experience in the determination of appropriate environmental planning approval pathways under NSW legislation, specialist environmental input to inform and influence project design, preparation of environmental impact assessment documentation, liaison and management of sub-contractors, reviewing and endorsing environmental management plans and systems, and supporting project delivery by acting as the environmental representative for projects and performing construction environmental site audits.
