Biography
urt Dallas is executive vice president for cable and connectivity systems. He has had responsibility for AFL's cable business since 2007 and assumed leadership of the connectivity business in 2015. Kurt joined AFL in 1991 as a senior applications engineer. He quickly moved into technical management, project management, and new product development working with the company’s cable and conductor accessories product lines. Prior to joining AFL, Kurt was a project engineer and manager of construction engineering at Tennessee Valley Authority. Kurt is a graduate of Memphis State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He also holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Tennessee. Outside of AFL, Kurt is on the board of the South Carolina Manufacturing Alliance and is active in charities focused on cancer research and prevention.
