Biography
As Chief New Ventures Officer at AlloSource, Peter leverages his more than 30 years’ experience in the medical device industry with a Fortune 100 health care company and over 15 years’ experience as a consultant. His expertise includes P&L responsibility, business turnaround and revitalizing product development to deliver new technologies to market in record numbers. In his role with AlloSource, Peter oversees the ongoing development of the overall company strategy, ensuring input from all sources, both internal and external. He is directly responsible for the implementation strategy through the coordinated activities of Research & Development and Licenses & Acquisitions. Peter served as an advisory board member on a state-run, life sciences, $200 million “emerging technology fund”; investing in start-up technology companies. He also served on four advisory boards to United States universities, giving advice on course content, technology transfer and research direction. Peter is inspired by the gift of donation to seek out new technologies in tissue use to create products for unmet clinical needs and to find new uses for currently unused tissues.
