Biography
Serving Unyts for 13 years as President and CEO, Mark J. Simon has helped create Western New York’s only organ, eye, tissue and community blood center. He previously served as the organization’s Director of Finance. Simon came to Unyts in January 1997 with extensive experience in not-for-profit accounting, working for three local hospitals and a medical association. As President and CEO, Simon oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of Unyts. He directly supervises the management staff, oversees corporate policies and procedures, develops collaborative relationships with local companies, hospitals and health related agencies to promote growth and develop additional clinical services. Simon is actively involved in the donation industry and currently serves on numerous boards.
