Biography
Abu received his Bachelor and Master of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) degrees from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology and the University of Melbourne, respectively. He recieved his PhD in Electronic Materials Engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in 2008, specializing in development of nanotechnology-enabled gas sensors. Abu comes to the MCN with extensive experience in a variety of microfabrication techniques including: cleanroom processing, photolithography, wet/dry etching, plasma systems engineering, SAW based gas sensors development, thin films deposition and electronic characterisation. Dr Sadek’s primary role within MCN is to provide focused support for projects emanating from Deakin University.
